Crisis and opportunity

A new season for Christian education, in the age of AI.

Christian education is entering a season of profound disruption and opportunity as artificial intelligence reshapes the future of learning. Imaginal Education provides future-ready solutions that combine AI-supported technologies, transformational learning models, leadership development, and Christian formation — while preserving the essential importance of collaboration, community, and teacher mentorship. We believe the future will require not simply new tools, but a new wineskin for Christian education.

At the same time, the role of the teacher is shifting from primarily delivering content to becoming a mentor, coach, and guide focused on the personal, academic, leadership, and spiritual development of each student. Supported by AI systems that help identify learning gaps and personalize instruction, teachers are increasingly freed to focus on helping students become Master Learners, Imaginal Leaders, and Christ Followers prepared to shape the future with wisdom, creativity, character, and purpose.

Not simply new tools — a new wineskin for Christian education.

AI and a Christian worldview

Why the model is the moat.

Every education company is now adding artificial intelligence. Almost all of them are building the same thing: an assistant that helps teachers produce lessons faster. The lesson is still a lesson. The model of education is unchanged. The AI simply makes the old system more efficient.

Imaginal is building something categorically different.

Geenius is not an assistant bolted onto a classroom. It is an Agentic Learning Operating System — an orchestration layer that coordinates a family of specialized AI agents around a single, proven pedagogical model. The distinction is a chasm, separating a tool doing conventional education faster from enabling a fundamental new system of learning.

The unique, proprietary differentiator matters to every parent, donor or partner evaluating IE’s ecosystem because it defines the moat. A moat is the durable, hard-to-replicate advantage that keeps competitors at bay — the business equivalent of the water around a castle: the wider it is, the harder the position is to attack. Within a few years, everyone in education will have access to powerful AI. AI itself will not be the advantage. The advantage will belong to whoever has the model the AI is built to serve. Imaginal has spent nearly three decades refining that model. Geenius is how we scale it.

The outcomes we form

Three outcomes, held together.

Christ Followers

Students formed in faith — knowing, loving, and following Jesus in every part of life.

Master Learners

Learners who take ownership and reach genuine mastery against a clear standard of excellence.

Imaginal Leaders

Young people with the vision, faith, and courage to imagine and create a better future.

Our signature program

I.D. (Imaginal Design) — identity, innovation, and discipleship.

At the heart of Imaginal Learning is I.D. (Imaginal Design) — our signature six-year Grades 7-12 program for identity, innovation, and discipleship. Developed in response to a growing crisis of meaning, identity, purpose, and belonging among young people, I.D. forms students in a Biblical worldview while preparing them to become innovators, creators, and Imaginal Leaders for a rapidly changing world. I.D. is delivered through four specialized labs — The Bridge (Design), The Sandbox (Build), The Forge (Express), and The Ark (Reflect).

Imago Dei

Grounds students in Biblical identity — understanding who they are as image-bearers of God, created for relationship, purpose, creativity, and calling.

Imaginal Discovery

Forms students as Imaginal Leaders. Through Imaginal Thinking, students learn to explore possible futures, analyze trends, create scenarios, and pursue innovation aligned with God’s purposes.

Innovation Design

Develops the creative, artistic, technical, maker, media, and entrepreneurial capacities students need to bring ideas into form and express beauty, meaning, and contribution in the world.

Discipleship woven in

Faith isn’t a subject added on. It’s the soil everything grows in.

What sets Learning Adventures apart from ordinary project-based learning is how naturally they weave in experiential Christian discipleship. Students don’t just study the world — they learn to see it as God’s, and to take up their part in its renewal.

Learning should release joy in both teacher and learner.
