New model. Proven results.
A living laboratory since 1997.
In 1997, Thomas Rudmik founded Master’s Academy and College in Calgary — not as another school, but as a living laboratory devoted to a single question: what would education look like if it were designed from the future rather than the past?
For nearly thirty years, that laboratory has run continuously — together investing more than $32 million in research, development, and real-world implementation, one of the most extensive Christian education R&D initiatives in North America.
From Profound Learning to Imaginal Learning
The model never stands still. We keep advancing and elevating it. The first generation of this work became known as Profound Learning. As technology advanced and our understanding deepened, it grew into its next generation — Imaginal Learning. But the work is never finished.
As an Imaginal Organization, we create obsolescence by building something better — even when what we already have is working. And it is working: we have attained remarkable success, and demand for what we have built is high. That is the innovator’s dilemma — why keep advancing a model that is already winning?
Because the future is calling for something more. So we take on the daunting task of making our own success obsolete — not in spite of what we have achieved, but because of a higher calling.
This is our Kingdom Assignment: to transform education — and to share it with the world.

The Imaginal Education Ecosystem
Not a network of schools — an ecosystem.
Traditional networks grow one campus at a time. The Imaginal ecosystem scales through many pathways at once — physical and digital, home and hybrid — reaching more learners, faster, with far less capital than conventional expansion.

Two national hubs, one global engine
IE USA (Melbourne) leads technology R&D and national expansion. IE Canada (Calgary) leads pedagogy, research, and teacher training. Master’s Academy remains the living global prototype.
State & Provincial ITCs
Imaginal Transformation Centers are the regional engines — training educators, supporting homeschool families, and running local Hybrid Schools.
Three pathways for families
Imaginal Home (parent-led), Imaginal Home Micro (communities of 8–25), and Imaginal Hybrid Schools (two days on campus, three remote).
The Geenius platform
The digital backbone that connects learners, parents, teachers, coaches, schools, and ITCs into a single ecosystem.
One mission, two front doors. Imaginal Education builds and proves the model and grows the movement through partnerships. Imaginal Schools welcomes parents and opens the door to enrollment. Same vision — designed to work together.
Reform or transform?
A new wineskin.
Most of what we call education was built for the Industrial Age — to produce conformity, compliance, and standardization. The instinct is always to fix it: new programs, new policies, new patches. But you cannot repair your way out of obsolescence. The old model isn’t broken. It has simply outlived its age.
Jesus said you don’t pour new wine into old wineskins — the skins burst, and both are lost. The future God is calling forth is new wine. It needs a new wineskin: a new kind of organization, designed for what’s coming.
A compelling vision is the new wine. The method is how the new wineskin gets built. Most movements have one or the other. Imaginal Education brings both — proven methods and tools to help organizations become the new wineskin, demonstrating a better way until the old one is simply no longer needed.
This is not opposition — it is demonstration. We don’t argue with the old. We out-build it, and provoke the world to jealousy.

The Imaginal Transformation Series · by Thomas Rudmik
From seeing the future to creating it, together.
Before it was an ecosystem, Imaginal Education was a vision. Across three books, Thomas Rudmik lays out the framework that has guided nearly three decades of transformation.

Our Platform
The Geenius educational operating system.
Twelve years in the making, built around the learning — not the other way around. Geenius is the digital foundation of the entire ecosystem, connecting learners, parents, teachers, coaches, schools, and ITCs in one place. Imaginal Education owns and controls this platform — so technology serves the model, instead of forcing the model to bend to off-the-shelf software.

Adaptive Knowledge Retention
Most education runs on a quiet lie: cram, test, forget. Our Adaptive Knowledge Retention (AKR) system is engineered to move knowledge out of fragile short-term memory and into durable long-term memory — reinforcing it at the precise moments the brain is about to forget.
The result is a different kind of student: one who walks into an exam already knowing the material — not because they crammed, but because they never forgot.
U.S. Patent
No. 6,551,109 B1
A rare, defensible retention process.
Meet the Geeni
A family of AI assistants, woven right into the platform — freeing teachers for the work only humans can do: mentoring, discipling, and forming the next generation.
Bank Geeni
Operational
Draws on the Learning Bank — competencies, concepts, assessments, and Biblical integration — to help build localized, future-ready content.
Adventure Geeni
Operational
Guides learners through Learning Adventures — the personalized, project-rich pathways where students explore, create, and apply.
Learning Coach Geeni
Deploys Jan 2027
Takes Closing Gaps to a level never before possible — pinpointing each learner’s gaps and delivering the intervention to close them.
Portfolio Geeni
In development
Surfaces evidence of competency development from the student work wall — building a portfolio of who the student is becoming.
Pathway Geeni
In development
Personalizes each learning journey to the student’s own goals and their parents’ — the system adapts to the learner.
AKR Engine
Patented
Our patented engine for moving essential knowledge out of short-term memory and into durable long-term memory.
Learning Coach Geeni operationalizes Closing Gaps — one of the nine essential elements behind Master’s extraordinary academic results.
Our AI strategy
Why an agentic learning OS is categorically different.
Every education company is adding an AI assistant. Geenius is an orchestration layer over many specialized agents — because the advantage does not belong to whoever adds AI, but to whoever has the model the AI is built to serve.

This is good news
Transformation is already happening.
Wherever Imaginal Learning takes root, partners describe more than better test scores. They describe a renewed culture — children learning with joy, and teachers rediscovering the purpose that first called them into the classroom.
That is the proof we trust most. Not a promise on a page — a pattern repeated across Canada, Brazil, Paraguay, Uganda, and beyond. The foundation exists. The prototype is validated. The platform is operational. What remains is to multiply it.
